The Swash & Buckle Fencing Club

The aptly named Swash & Buckle Fencing Club was founded in 1992 by William Hobbs, cinema Fight Director. Our Patron is Gene Wilder, the Hollywood actor and director. Originally set up as a breakaway from an Equity-only fencing club, it now welcomes members from beyond the acting profession. Based in Pimlico, we have one of the best fencing venues in London, offering a large modern sprung-floor gym, and all electric pistes. The Swash and Buckle prides itself on its friendly and welcome atmosphere, and members organise regular social events. For further details of what we offer, whether you're a beginner or an experienced fencer, click on the menu at the side of the page.
